A home for Brandy & her family

athens Ga - Oconee County - and beyond has had an Angel behind the scenes that has worked without payment, or the support of a nonprofit, to help our community.

Brandy Milton Harris has been a beacon of hope in our community for years. She has clothed, fed, saved, and returned home so many who were lost and alone. She has saved teen mother’s who were tossed out by their own families. She has saved people from OD’ing. She has pulled people out of hypothermia and warmed them. She has been out there nearly every day pouring love into our city.

And now… now she is the one who needs saving. Her home is unlivable. The cold snap took out her water, and her electric with it. The electric is unsalvageable.

I don’t know what I am asking for, help, advice, money, leads to trailers for sale, rvs, really just support and advice and any help you have to offer her, she needs. Her trailer sat on land her parents owned before they passed, and it is unsalvageable. The wiring is done for.

it would cost $8000 minimum to rewire the trailer, according to a licensed electrician she had to come look at it. The problem is that the plumbing is also shot due to the deep freeze we just had in our area. She and her family are in desperate need of some financial breathing room to figure out a new living situation. Be that a down payment on a trailer, or potentially some type of RV. Anyone who knows Brandy know she has always given out of her heart, and has spent many a long night helping the homeless and unhoused.
