A HOME for the HOLIDAYS for the Wong Family

On October 10, our friend, coworker, and Assistant Principal Eric Wong had a life-threatening stroke. He is making a miraculous recovery thus far, but he has a long journey ahead of him. He will soon be released from the hospital to recover at home. The problem he faces is that the Wong home is currently under construction, and is not habitable for a person in Eric’s condition.

This is where we come in. We want to provide the Wong Family with a Home for the Holidays!

We have reserved an Airbnb very close to their current home. Their girls can still bike to school, see their friends, and stay involved with their activities. The house is near his doctors, family, and friends The home is wheelchair accessible, has a fully functioning kitchen, and is comfortably furnished. Eric will be warm and safe with his family for the holiday season.

While Eric is recovering, he will need a health aid, which is an out-of-pocket expense.

We need to raise $20,000 to cover the rental costs and some health aid expenses.

We have received many emails and calls asking how people can help Eric and his family. This will make a beautiful difference in their lives
