A Home Full of Memories Lost to Fire: Help Us Rebuild
Donation protected
First and foremost, we want to thank God for keeping my mother-in-law and the five other family members safe during this tragic event. While we are heartbroken by their loss, we are grateful that they are all alive.
A few nights ago, their home was tragically destroyed in a catastrophic fire, leaving them displaced and with nothing just weeks before Christmas. The emotional and financial toll of losing their home, belongings, and cherished memories is overwhelming for our family during what should be a time of joy and togetherness.
Beyond the loss of the house, my mother-in-law’s long-time business, How Great Thou Art Creations, was also destroyed in the fire. Irreplaceable items, including photos, family heirlooms, and the memories made in that home over the years, are gone. This house had been a sanctuary for the family, where children and grandchildren grew up and countless family gatherings were held.
As they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and kind-hearted individuals to ask for your support. Your generous donations will help them restore essential clothing, personal belongings, and other necessities to regain some sense of normalcy during this difficult time.
No amount is too small, and every contribution will make a meaningful impact. With your help, we hope to bring some relief to the family, allowing them to celebrate the holidays with warmth, dignity, and hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story. Whether you donate or simply share this page with others, your support is greatly appreciated. Together, we can help them navigate this challenging journey and begin to rebuild their lives.
