A Kidney for Kenny

          About 2 years ago I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. At the time of my diagnosis I was already at stage 3 of 5. My whole world went to a grinding halt.  I started dialysis immediately to remove the toxins that my kidneys could no longer get rid of. I did hemodialysis  first then, started to do peritoneal dialysis at home.  I found it more convenient for me to do it at home and I was able to continue working.  I started the process in Tampa to receive a kidney transplant but I had to move back home to the Daytona area (Palm Coast) for more support. 
     
     So fast forward to today. I've moved to Palm Coast where I have the support of my family.  I'm once again pursuing a kidney transplant. Unfortunately , I must start the entire process over. That includes raising funds to aid my recovery after the surgery.  Most medical expenses are taken care of by insurance. However, there will be additional expenses incurred at a result of my recovery plus new medication costs. 

   I know some of you really came through for me in Tampa with my first fundraising effort and I'm so grateful. But now I;m asking for your help again. Perhaps this time from new friends and not just old ones.  Your donation will be used to cover expenses such as anti-rejection medication after surgery. which is critical and expensive. The transplant team needs to see that I have funds available to pay for this medication in order to be granted a kidney transplant.
