A Kidney for Kyla

Hello everyone! We are fundraising to help ease the financial burden that will be impacting two of the most amazing humans you could ever meet. Both are Registered nurses. Kyla teaches nursing and Kristyn works as an Emergency room nurse. Both have dedicated their lives to helping others. For anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Kyla or Kristyn in any capacity, you know they are both the most selfless, kind and encouraging humans. Now it's their turn. Kyla has been in kidney failure since 2015. Things took a turn for the worse just over a year and a half ago when she found out she needed a kidney transplant. She has been waiting patiently for the perfect match. Kristyn was tested and unfortunately was not a match, but signed up for the paired exchange program. Today they received a call that they have found a match, but they have someone who needs a kidney from Kristyn. So basically a kidney for a kidney. Both will be having surgery within a few weeks. This will require much travel between Sudbury and London, hotel stays, etc. Both of them will be off work for an extended period of time. Please share if you cannot donate.
