A Kidney for Lander

My name is Wilworth Robin, and I was contacted by Lander Bruno to do a fundraiser on his behalf.

Lander Bruno is 48 years old and currently living in Chance, Portsmouth.

In November 2000, Lander was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure and have been on dialysis for 23 years, making him the longest serving dialysis patient in Dominica. After his diagnosis, he basically lost everything including his current wife at the time, his job and livelihood. Despite this misfortune, he remained optimistic and extremely grateful for what he had-life.

In 2018, he got a second chance at having a family when he met my current wife. They are now proud parents of a beautiful 4-year-old girl. Not only was he able to have the family that he longed for, but also the possibility of a new kidney donated by his loving wife.

The procedure is expected to be done in Antigua at Mount St. Johns Medical Center in August 2023. However, it comes with a substantial cost of ($144,270.19). Since he has not been able to have a proper Job for the past 23 years; the little money that he had saved has long been consumed due to weekly dialysis treatments, and obviously unable to meet the cost of this life-changing procedure without the help of generous donors.

Lander is humbly seeking financial assistance to cover the cost of this surgery, laboratory fees, and any other medical expenses associated with this kidney transplant.

It is his heart's desire to be back on my feet so that I can take care of my family and just immerse himself in life once again. He pray that his story will touch your hearts and that you can help him get his life back with a generous donation to this worthy cause.
