Hello family and friends. My name is Mary Blount Williams. Some friends know me as Lou-Lou. As some of you already know, I have been battling kidney disease for over eight years. Over the past year, I experienced total kidney failure and had to begin dialysis. Currently I do peritoneal dialysis which means I do the process at home. Also during this time of dialysis treatment, I have been meeting the requirements to be eligible for a kidney transplant. Well, after many, many months of testing, appointments and lots of lab work, I have been added to the kidney transplant wait list.
