A Kidney Miracle for Valerie
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Valerie Garcia Martinez. For many close friends and relatives that are not aware. I am battling for my life! For the last 5 years I have suffered from Renal failure. I am now at the” last stage”.
In addition, 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy and retina detachment. Which occurred in the blink of an eye without any warning signs. I am now legally blind.
I'm not used to asking for help. But now I'm in dire need and it is crucial in my first step towards saving my own life.
I am asking for help seeking a living kidney donor along with medical cost expenses.
Blood type 0+ "But not limited to 0+".
There is NO real cure. The only option is a Kidney Transplant
A kidney from a living donor also lives longer, for about 15 -20 years. A regular person needs only 1 kidney to live a healthy life (1 in 700 people is born with 1 kidney).
I need 1 kidney to live. Time is not on my side!
Please take a minute to learn about living kidney donation below.
Medical expenses to consider:
Pre-transplant testing
Health care team fees
Surgery
Insurance co-pays and deductibles
Postoperative care and rehabilitation
Prescriptions
Follow up testing and care
Transportation to and from transplant center
Lodging close to transplant center before and after surgery
Please help me share my story!
I'm staying positive and I'm hopeful that there is somebody somewhere who will help save my life!
