A lasting memorial for my Twin Brother Dean.
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am fundraising for a lasting memorial to my twin brother Dean.
As you know my twin brother Dean Taylor passed away on Sunday March 13th 2022.
Dean was taken Ill on 20th February and admitted to hospital.
He was put onto a ventilator due to a severe case of Pneumonia, a week later he was transferred to Morriston for emergency heart surgery for an underlying heart condition. At this point he was put on full life support and held in a medically induced paralyzed coma.
Unfortunately due to a multitude of complications including sepsis, a chest infection, kidney failure amongst other things, Dean passed away peacefully at 3.10pm on Sunday 13th March, surrounded by people that loved him, he never properly regained conciousness.
Being a twin means Dean and I had a bond, a connection that could not be equalled.
Dean was a chef for 15 years, a damn good one too. He later got his lorry license and worked at several companies before settling with Hermes.
Dean and I were inseparable, we worked together, we lived together, we fought together, we laughed together, we fished together we did everything together.
Many of you know Dean had a huge passion for fishing, a passion passed to him by my dad, Mal - who we sadly lost last May.
Dean was carer for our mum, Jean, he was a kind hearted mountain of a man, with a sense of humour as sharp as a razor and twice as deadly. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Dean, he was a grafter, a warrior, a king among men, my twin brother, my harshest critic, my biggest fan and my best friend.
I already miss him so much as do many other people, friends colleagues and family alike, I would like to have a memorial bench or similar as a lasting memorial at his favourite fishing spot, a place to sit for quiet reflection, a place to connect to a man who will be missed so much.
Thank you x.
