A lasting memory for grandchildren

Hi Everyone. I have started this GoFundMe as so many of you have asked how you can help us while we support our dad. I would love our dad to know that his life was valuable to us and want to help him create a lasting memory especially for his grandchildren.

Back in 2017, dad (at the age of 56) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then he has undergone a whipple procedure, ongoing chemo treatment (spanning 6 years and counting), multiple emergency hospital visits and lives with the constant reminder that the cancer is living inside of him and he has limited control over this...

Dad has stood so strong in the face of adversity and continues to live out his journey here on earth with a smile on his face, always looking, planning and talking about the way he'd like to live out his "tomorrows".

He is a constant reminder of how important it is to live for tomorrow by sharing his future plans and all the things he aspires to achieve in what he knows to be a limited, yet unknown, amount of time.

I'd love to help my dad know that his legacy and positive attitude on life will live on - especially for his grandchildren to see and hear all about.

That is why when I stumbled upon All About Me Films , I knew I had found a way to let his legacy shine through his own reflection of his life. With this GoFundMe page dad's legacy, voice and smile can live on through a video recording with the help of All About Me Films and this will allow him to showcase his life experience from his very own perspective.

Dad is currently being treated by an amazing team of professionals at the Peter Mac Cancer Centre here in Melbourne and has just found out that he has a tumor which is inoperable given the location of the tumor (April, 2024).

I know our time with our dad is precious, priceless and unfortunately limited but I hope the funds raised can help him feel more content, knowing that his journey and life story will live on for all of us to enjoy.
