A Legacy for Corey

If you had the privilege of meeting Corey Caldwell, you met an instant friend. Corey had a way of making everyone he met feel like they were in familiar company. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY and living all over the country, Corey maintained a close relationship with his family along with developing a brotherhood of five close friends that spanned over thirty years. Corey was a loving and devoted partner and was cherished and adored by his three children and bonus son. Corey had a huge, loving and giving heart and that heart stopped beating for all of us on December 12, 2021 after a very brief illness.

 

Our sorrow is deep, as he was a gentle strength and he never ceased to fill a room with joy and laughter. We take comfort in knowing his spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who knew him but, especially, through his children.

 

His greatest joy was his family and his highest honor was to be a fiercely devoted father. There is no greater way we can honor his life than to make sure his children are cared for in the days and months ahead, as they navigate this loss and find a path forward.

 

So many have reached out wanting to know how they can help the family and they are so incredibly humbled & grateful at the outpouring of support. With the family’s blessing, I am setting up this fundraiser which will go directly to Corey's children for anything they may need.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to his children.
