A Legacy of Music: Remembering Michael Christian

Hello everyone!

My name is Maria Thrasher, I'm the younger sister of Michael Christian. It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my beloved brother. Michael's life was a symphony of dedication, passion, and unyielding love for music. As an avid guitarist, he saw the world through the strings of his guitar, always finding solace and joy in the melodies he created.

Despite financial struggles, Michael never let go of his dream. In recent years, he channeled his talent and passion into teaching and nurturing young musicians at The School of Rock, Gahanna. He was also a cherished sound engineer, supporting various live bands throughout Columbus, helping them sound their best on stage at multiple live venues around town.

Tragically, Michael was found in his apartment on Saturday evening after a neighbor called the police for a wellness check. As a family, we are beyond devastated by Michael's untimely passing. He did not have any life insurance, leaving us with the unexpected financial burden of arranging his funeral and other expenses.
