A life too short: Robert James (Jamie) Medlock
Donation protected
The call you never want to receive - a loved one passed, suddenly with such brightness ahead for them.
- Children so young that they won't have a memory of their dad. Pictures to hold and memories shared by family and friends, but a piece of their history is forever gone.
- A mother and father who can never again hold their son, to tell them that they love him and are proud of him.
- Brothers and friends with bonds unimaginably close that will forever leave a void - the heart in agony from the very thought of never spending time with Jamie again.
- It is tragic and difficult to even imagine.
This is the story of my brother, Robert James (Jamie) Medlock who died Sunday, July 30 while out of state visiting his infant son.
A celebration of his life will be held this Saturday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Outreach Ministries, 3229 FL-47, Lake City, FL. We invite everyone to join us to share memories as Jamie is remembered for his huge heart, unbounded laughter and his love for his family and friends.
His life wasn't easy, and he didn't always take the straight and narrow path, but he was working with passion to be the best man he could be for his infant son and young daughter. He treasured this photo from a recent church visit - "the best is yet to come"...and for Jamie, he is now with God in delivering this commitment.
Our hearts are heavy losing Jamie. Unfortunately, with any passing, there are expenses that must be met for his cremation and the out-of-state services. Please consider a donation to help limit this financial burden on the family. All expenses over the final cremation expenses will be given expressly to his two children to help with their care.
Thank you, in advance, for helping to support Jamie's family during this difficult time - with your love, your prayers and, as you are able, your financial support.
We welcome seeing you Saturday at the Celebration of Life for Robert James (Jamie) Medlock.
