Phase 2: A Renovated Bathroom for DeeDee Thompson

Donation protected
Sixteen years ago, Deidra Thompson (DeeDee) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a progressive disease, which has caused her to lose the use of her legs and has significantly weakened her right arm. For this reason, we instituted a two phase Fundraiser to help give DeeDee back her independence! Phase 1 of our fundraiser is complete! Your donations enabled us to install a new Vertical Platform Lift (see video) to give DeeDee the ability to leave her home without assistance! Thank you to all who donated and helped make this happen. Phase 2 is now underway: We plan to renovate DeeDee’s bathroom to make it totally accessible for her. Simple things that we take for granted will make all the difference in DeeDee’s daily life. She is a remarkably courageous human being with the biggest heart and most infectious smile. With your help we can give DeeDee back her sense of independence, and show her she is not alone in her daily fight. Every donation will help, no matter how much. Please give today. And thank you in advance, for caring and demonstrating your love. God Bless!
