A little support for Julian

Hi, my name is Mary and I am looking for a little support and help from our community for my best friend Melissa and her son Julian. On Friday September 23,2022 Julian was doing what he loves most and that's playing football, during this football game Julian had a horrific accident that led to Julian being injured and rushed to Strong Memorial hospital where he under went Emergency surgery. Julian is looking at a long road for recovery and Melissa will be out of work to care for Jukian during this time. Melissa is to prideful to ask for help, but I'm not. During this time she will be out of work she is going to need support and help with bills and appointments that may arise from Julian needing follow up care. Melissa is always there for everyone any day or time and will give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. Even if you can not donate, please share.

Good afternoon and HELLO everyone! First and foremost, i would like to send my appreciation to each and everyone for all of the overwhelming love, support and prayers. As many of you know, my son had a horrific accident while out on the playing field last evening. I've seen many things posted and sincerely thank you, but please leave the posting to myself or those that are getting the messages directly from myself or his father. Julian, had a subdural bleed on the right frontal lobe. He was rushed into emergency surgery for a craniotomy. It's going be a long recovery but with prayers and positive thoughts I know he will over come this. He's always been a fighter and a tough kid in everything he does.

So current update on our dude man: neuro team just came up and they are hopeful for a full recovery. They said that ones they take him off sedation and wake completely they believe that he, at the least only has a severe concussion. They did throw in possible Traumatic Brain Injury. Due to the nature of his injury he is on antibiotics and antiseizure medications. He is sedated for his own safey and to ensure the best possible healing. He also has a fee broken rids. For now, only Jim and I are allowed to be here with him, not even his stepdad could be here. Once I have more information, family and close friends I will eventually allow to come up to visit when they open that option up. For now, we are here for a MINIMUM of 5 days, pending the rate of his recovery, will depend on if we need to stay longer

Stay strong and stay positive everyone, he will come home within the next week or two.

On a personal level, I also ask that you give me some time to process whats happened to my baby, I am overly emotional, lost, broken, shattered, numb.... just a few words to describe how I feel.
