A long journey for the Partridge Family!

Joey and Jillian Partridge have 2 kids, Lucas (7) and Joshua (3), and were expecting identical twin boys due on May 25, 2024. Early in the pregnancy, Jillian began to experience complications and suffered from Preeclampsia. On February 6, 2024, Jillian was rushed into the ER with severe abdominal pain. Her preeclampsia had developed into HELLP syndrome, causing her liver to be at risk of rupturing. To save her and the twins lives, she was immediately rushed into an emergency C-section. The surgery was successful and both boys were delivered.

Nathan James and Jayden Edward were born on February 6, 2024 at 24 weeks. Jillian is healing from the surgery, however, the twins have a long journey ahead of them at the NICU. Their first 3 weeks have been filled with scares and a few near-death moments for them. Jayden has suffered from some severe oxygen and lung issues and has required multiple chest tubes to help his underdeveloped lungs. Nathan had to be transported by helicopter to a hospital in Denver in the case that surgery is needed for an ongoing infection and bowel perforation. He requires constant surveillance by surgeons to make sure he heals properly. Every day seems to bring something new and juggling between 2 hospitals in 2 different cities has presented its own challenges. Along with maintaining life at home with the two older boys, including school and activities.

We are extremely grateful for the NICU teams and staff at both hospitals for taking care of the boys so well! However, such care comes at a heavy financial expense. Between the helicopter transportation and the months-long NICU treatment/stay, steep medical bills are inevitable. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
