A love gift for Faith Gibson’s leukemia victory
No Thanksgiving day has meant more to us than the one that my family is celebrating today. We should be thankful for life in its entirety. All of us are guilty of taking the small things in life for granted, but we shouldn’t because life can and will change instantly. Almost a week ago we took our oldest daughter in the photo that you see to the doctor thinking that it was only going to be a mere cold with some body aches because she had already tested negative for COVID 19. On Monday, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This is an avenue that we haven’t traveled down before. We’ve only had loved ones who have. Our faith in God and our hearts tell us that Faith has the victory in sight. While the medical part is being performed, I’m the only parent that will be working and taking care of our other two daughters at home. My wife will be present with Faith at the hospital. The funds that we raise will go towards keeping our home up for the four months Faith will be receiving treatment and it will also help provide Faith with whatever need she may have when her treatment ends. We’re asking that you give what your heart leads you to. No matter the outcome of our goal, we will remain thankful for the blessing that we received.
God Bless and happy thanksgiving !!
