A Loving Farewell for Momma Joan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Momma Joan on Saturday, January 18, 2025. It is said that, “some people don’t just live life; they inspire it through their love, kindness, and unwavering dedication”. Momma Joan was an example of that and more. She’s a remarkable woman who has touched countless lives through her selflessness & happy spirit. As a cherished great-grandma, grandma, mom, other-half, sister, aunt, friend, and dedicated member of her church, Momma Joan has always been there for others. In this challenging time, we seek support to honor her memory with a fitting memorial service.

Momma Joan’s life was a testament of her love, compassion & generosity. Her devotion to her church and church choir is truly inspirational, always eager to lend a hand and uplift those around her with her contagious smile. Momma Joan was & will continue to be the backbone of our family. From the sacrifices she’s made ensuring we had everything needed & everyone was taken care of, to her big heart and free spirit that never failed to make those around her laugh & smile. As a great-grandmother and grandmother, her warmth and wisdom nurtured generations. She was an amazing mother and other-half, providing endless support and strength to her family. She was a confidante and guiding light to her siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. As a dedicated employee, Momma Joan was respected and admired by her colleagues for her hard work, courageous attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Her unexpected passing has left us heartbroken and unprepared for the financial responsibilities of organizing a memorial that truly honors the beautiful life she led. We are reaching out to friends, family, and compassionate individuals with the hope that we can gather enough funds to give Momma Joan the loving farewell she deserves.
