A loving farewell to my mom Angela mims-McKenzie

Dear Family and Friends,

 It saddens me to say that My mother, Angela Mims-Mckenzie, has taken her last breath.  She has been battling over the past few months with different illnesses and has tried her best to stay strong, but God has decided that it was time to call another one of his Angel home to be laid to rest.

 My beloved mother Angela passed on October 24, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, sister, wife, and friend who touched the lives of all those around her. She leaves behind her darling daughter, Jasmine, and her loving husband Winston.  Her sudden unexpected death has taken an enormous toll on the family, and we are currently struggling to find the necessary funds to cover the cost of the service and respect her wishes.

 Angela dedicated her life to being very involved in her community, helping with charity events and donating her time at soup kitchens to ensure the less fortunate are fed. She was also an active member of the Community Baptist Church of Englewood. She helped out with youth groups that would help mold young teens with no guidance while also serving on a ministry that helped deliver and donate presents on Christmas to children whose parents were in jail. Every Sunday, if her health allowed, as she was on dialysis for renal failure from diabetes, she and her family always ensured they were there for Sunday service. She was a devout Christian who never faltered from her faith. She spent her life praising and being a humble servant to the lord.

 Angela passed away from conditions stemming from low blood pressure and pneumonia, ultimately leading to multiple organ failures. The funeral home requires all the funds by November 4, 2022.
