The early evening of April 1, 2024, our Friend Wesley was repairing a tire in the garage, while his son Kache went to the store for snacks. Kache returned and notified his father that he was back and would be getting the new game that his father got him ready to play. Wesley left the garage and went inside the home. He returned to find that during the short few moments, Kache had let the 2 dogs in from the yard and Kache was on the kitchen floor covered in blood. Wesley removed the dogs, and ran to his son, only to discover the true severity of what happened. The dogs, who belonged to a roomate who also lived at the residence, had attacked young Kache. The attack has resulted in the death of a 11 year old boy.
Kache was only 11 years old, about to turn 12 in May. He was a grade 5 student at Osoyoos Elementary.had a kind heart and a loving soul. He always made sure that the people he was around were happy. He never liked seeing people hurt or upset. He loved meeting people and playing games. His character charmed everyone, his positive outlook on life shinned through his fun, goofy, friendly demeanor. Most of all he loved his dad. His dad was his best friend and biggest part of his life. He was truly a blessing to his whole family, and it is a devastating shock to everyone who knew him. He is truly missed
As you can imagine, Wesley is going through something no one should ever have to experience.
In an effort to provide some relief and assistance to the grieving family. Our goal is to raise funds to help alleviate the financial burden that often accompanies such a heartbreaking loss. We believe that by coming together as a community, we can make a significant difference in their lives.
