A loving memorial for Mark Miller

On January 15, 2022, the world became a little darker with the loss of Mark Miller. He was a presence in all settings, from the football field at Duke to the higher education arena, but, most importantly, in his family with his girls whom he loved fiercely.

People have asked about ways to help the family and to honor Mark’s legacy. I am creating this memorial fund to ease Dedra’s financial stress during an already difficult time and to provide a way to love on her in a practical way. In honor of Mark’s commitment to education and his girls, this fund will also support educational expenses for Delaney and Presley who are both enrolled at WVU. The goal amount is lofty, but it covers a year of in-state tuition at WVU for both girls, so I’m putting it out there.
