A Loving Tribute to Kim and Lynn Smith

On Thursday, January 12, 2023, Lynn Ann (Hanks) Smith was sadly taken from this world after a brief illness at the age of 61. Her untimely passing occurred only two months after her husband of 37 years, Kim Leroy Smith, died unexpectedly at the age of 67. Both are survived by their four boys, Aaron (Nicole), Brandon, Calen, Curran, and six grandchildren (Ryder, Grayson, Asa, Lillia, Tate, and Isabella) as well as Lynn's brother Neil (Mary), Kim's mom Ruth, Kim's sisters Patti (Bill) and Barb (Steve) and their families. The legacy left behind by both Kim and Lynn runs deep and will bless generations to come.

Both were first and foremost dedicated followers of Christ and spent their lives seeking His will and His path while leaning on His strength and wisdom. Kim and Lynn exuded the joy of the Lord, and both had a special way of creating laughter and smiles everywhere they went. As life partners, they shared many joys and triumphs and weathered many storms and challenges but always prevailed with grateful and humble hearts.

How will donations be used?

The boys and their families are grieving deeply while also taking on new responsibilities managing the family cabinet business, adopting Kim and Lynn's pets, and absorbing the costs of final arrangements. This GoFundMe account is being set up to assist the boys with the unexpected expenses related to burial and final arrangements. All donations will go to Calen Smith because only one beneficiary can be designated on the account.
