A Loving Tribute to Kyler's Life

Kyler went in for a routine surgery on Wednesday the 11th to have his tonsils removed.

I was told surgery went fine and he was sent home.

He spent most of the day sleeping with little to no desire to do much.

I put him in bed around 11:30 pm and laid next to him.

A few hours later, I woke to sit him back up on an incline and wiped the snots from his face, kissing him on his head and telling him I loved him.

At approximately 9:30 am, when I woke naturally, as I think most parents would do, I felt him to make sure he was alive and well, and unfortunately, he was not.

He was pronounced deceased at the hospital shortly later.

There has been so much outpouring support of people wanting to help, I felt the need to start this.

I want nothing more than to send him away with a proper service and a beautiful headstone in the shape of a surfboard because wake surfing was one of the many things him and I loved to do together.

I want to thank each and everyone who has reached out with food, flowers, and condolences.

No amount of money will bring back this beautiful life taken far too soon, but I want to memorialize him in each and every way possible.
