Hello fellow friends,

I am assisting my resilient, kind, proud and generous friend who is striving to keep her family afloat and chart a new career path for herself that will anchor a better life for her and her 2 teen children moving forward.

I have known Denise for 12yrs and in that time I have seen her adapt, meet many challenges and persevere in the face of crippling obstacles and forces outside of her control.

After guiding her children through their father's untimely passing during COVID, juggling school and home commitments, she is now

financially, physically, mentally and emotionally drained.

However, she dug deep and is almost finished college and about to start a new career in a field she is passionate about.

Like you, I recognize that we all can fall on hard times in a blink of an eye and know that our community often is what steps up to see us through to shore. We are all feeling the increased costs of daily life.

The funds raised here will enable Denise to pay back-rent, tuition for her new program and keep healthy food on the table.

Once back on even ground, her current schooling and volunteering, teamed with supportive contacts, will strengthen her career launch.
