Help a mom be with her son in the hospital

Colton is a happy, rambunctious 9 year old boy who loves telling jokes, and painting. He’s always climbing on things and zipping around on his hover board, riding 4wheelers and snowmobiles. His favorite color is red! And he’s a snuggler! He’s sweet and sensitive and always helpful. This healthy little boy recently came down with the flu and then the virus somehow attacked his brain. He suddenly could not talk or walk unassisted. He had suffered from delamination of his cerebral cortex, caused by cerebral viral meningitis. This happens to 1 in 200,000. This has damaged his brain and he is going to need extensive therapy to get back to himself. He will need to stay in the hospital for several months, including Christmas. His mother and grandmother are sharing the load to drive there to be with him. His mother is missing a lot of work to be with her boy, not to mention the gas it is going to take for her to get there. It is 130 miles round trip for her. She is a single mother and this is very hard on her and the whole family. Please consider helping to support her making these trips to be with her sweet boy.
