A Marker for Will: A Family's Wish

Hi there, My uncle passed in 2022 of a stroke and is still without a marker where he was laid to rest. My family asked me to create one of these in hopes to getting one step closer to helping get him one. Any little bit can help, or even sharing this post to get it out there. William Justin Jackson age 59 of Flint passed away May 8, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, May 16, 2022 at Flint First Wesleyan Church, 3825 Davison Rd. Flint, MI 48506. Family will receive visitors from 1-7pm, Sunday, May 15 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Pastor Dennis Rouse officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. William went by a few nicknames such as J.J., Justin, and Will among many others. He was hilarious, part preacher, part comedian and he loved the Lord. William was a veteran in the United States army, was a very, very hard worker, worked as a mason tender and had many other skills in his life. William is survived by his mother Judy Ferguson, sisters Barb Jackson, Tara Green, father Dennis Jackson, nieces Tavin and Niki Jackson, nephew Ryan Morris, great nieces and nephews, 1 great great niece, and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold and Bernice Phipps, William and Maud Jackson, brother Clint Jackson, nephew Chuck Ferguson, and step father David Ferguson.
