Help Evacuate Family from Afghanistan Now!

Hi, I am Brenda K. Johnson a retired Army officer from the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I am writing this on behave of my good friend Aghagul Farhad and his wife Masooma. I love them like my own family and they are very dear and they need a financial miracle.

While I was in Kabul, Afghanistan my interpreter and his family were a major blessing to me. After America pulled out of Afghanistan in August 2021, the Taliban has been stocking interpreters that helped Americans. Threatening to kill them.

Since that time, my interpreter was arrested and beaten twice for 10 days each and his twenty-year-old son, Payman was shot in the leg and foot. They used all the money they had in the world to get their passports to leave the country. Finally, the Taliban released the families’ passports after a very long process. A few weeks ago, the Taliban stole their home and car after demanding the documents, or else. They had to move while Masooma was 9-months pregnant.

Yesterday, October 11, 2022, my interpreter was arrested again by the Taliban and sent from the jail to prison in Pulecharkhi, Afghanistan and will be held possibly for several years. His wife just had a baby that is one month old. I am helping Masooma, with a one-month-old baby, a son of 4 years old Mahan and three teenage girls ages, Hadiha, 17, Sofia, 14 and Maheda, 9 years old out of Afghanistan. They will be killed, raped or die of starvation if not able to move to Pakistan.

Please help me to raise money for the family of someone who was willing to give their life for America and who now needs our help to get his family out of Afghanistan. They need visas, and money for food and housing to escape. They are leaving everything they have behind. They are being persecuted by the Taliban. Since Ali and the son are in jail they have no money. They are desperately seeking refuge out of Afghanistan, furthermore, women and girls cannot work or attend school.

I am not keeping any of the money. All the funds will be sent directly by bank wire to Masooma to save her and her children.
