Hello, my name is Noah Smith and I am in desperate need.
In April of 2024, I started passing out around three to five times a day without explanation. This has made me unable to work any kind of job. In response to this limitation, I decided that while I was trying to seek medical treatment, I would try to go to college to finish my bachelor's degree. I am going to Arizona State University Online to finish a bachelor's degree in history. I want nothing more than to be able to teach.
The fall semester has gone without a hitch. I have a 4.0 GPA in my courses as of right now. Unfortunately, it does look like in order to continue at ASU I need $2500. I currently cannot afford to drop out, and I do not have a credit-worthy cosigner to receive private loans from the bank. I already have taken out student loans for the fall semester, so I will be expected to pay those back if I drop out. Because I am currently undiagnosed due to the fact that the doctors do not know what is wrong with me, I still do not have the ability to apply for any kind of disability. I cannot afford to continue to go to school, but I also cannot afford to not go to school.
I don't like going on to the Internet to try to ask for aid. Unfortunately, I have nothing else. I am quite literally stuck. Any amount you can give would be appreciated. Even if it isn't enough to go back to school, it will go towards hopefully making a couple of payments once I inevitably have to drop out if I don't meet the goal.
