On June 8, 2024, John Eakes, passed away unexpectedly. After three kids, two grandchildren, and 37 years of marriage, his family’s life forever changed. Although my sister, Tracey, and their kids continue to grieve, she has found a beautiful way to memorialize John and share his passion for landscape photography. A swinging bench will be placed at the Kennard’s Nature Nook entrance in Grant Park, a 222 acre natural area in Centerville, OH, where John frequented because it was the perfect backdrop for his work. The bench will feature a memorial plaque and a QR code linked to a collection of his incredible photos. The family will cover the $3500 cost and delivery of the bench plus website hosting of his photography collection; however, we wanted to share this opportunity if you also want to show your love and friendship for John, Tracey, Zach, Cody, and Alexis. Please join us in visiting John’s bench in Grant Park to remember him and enjoy his legacy.
