A miracle for Melissa

My name is Robert Parizon i am Melissa’s oldest son. We live in Lincoln park, Michigan We are trying to raise funds to help Melissa Cripps and her family. Last year Melissa underwent surgery and chemotherapy for rare form of cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. Unfortunately, the cancer  has spread to her lungs and is currently in stage 4. Melissa has been a member at the Carbon Athletic Club for many years and has always been a smiling face there that welcomes patrons. Melissa is currently unable to work. She is in and out of the hospital periodically. Melissa has a loving husband Ricardo, 2 sons and is a grandmother of 3 little girls. 

On top of her health problems, last week they called a plumber to address a drain issue and have been told their sewer lines need to be replaced. This involves digging up the yard and their insurance company will not cover the work. Because of this, they currently have no running water. On top of this, in the process of troubleshooting the plumbing issue another more expensive plumbing problem occurred.

We want to raise at least $15,000 to help the family with medical expenses, and to cover the cost of plumbing repairs so they can stay in their home.
