A Miracle for Meme
Donation protected
Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by so we can tell you about our Meme's cancer journey.
We are the six grandchildren of Meme and Papa (Chris and Dave) and with the help of our moms (her three daughters), we're raising money to support her as she goes through breast cancer treatments and recovery. She has a rare form of inflammatory breast cancer that has metastasized to her lungs and bones. While doctors have done, and continue to do, all they can, we are at a point of needing a miracle.
Our Meme has spent her whole life in the medical field taking care of patients and making medical processes more efficient: caring for staff and patients alike. She has given her life to the field of medicine and true to the self-giving life she has always lead, she is now allowing researchers to learn from her through this process. Now, we can give back to her as she continues to give back to the medical community.
We trust God is faithful to keep us in sickness and health and while we pray boldly for a miracle, we are also taking practical steps to help with every day needs. Fighting cancer is time consuming!
Time off work and treatments that give us more time and keep her comfortable are expensive and time consuming for both our Meme and Papa. So, we are asking for your help. We have had many friends and family tell us they feel helpless and wish there was something they could do. Many have shared words of encouragement, brought meals, prayed, and even helped take care of us kids. For all of that we are so grateful.
Donating financial resources is another big, practical way we can help. This would allow them to focus more of their time on fighting cancer and seeking treatments and therapies insurance won't cover.
We would be so grateful if you are able to donate. Every little bit helps.
With love and gratitude!
