A Miracle to Get Ciemantha Rolling Again

Ok. I have mixed feelings about this but I’m just going to be honest. I need help. My truck broke down 3 weeks ago and things have been hard. I saved enough money to get a new alternator but yesterday my friends and I weren’t able to get it installed, we can’t figure it out.

I’ve been trying to get by without my truck but I’m $400 behind on rent for October, my bank account is negative $531, and it’s almost the first of the month. Now I’m going to have to pay for a tow to get my truck to a shop to pay for someone to fix it and I have no idea how much that will be. Plus I noticed on top of everything else while the truck has been sitting out back I’ve got a flat tire.

I got a job serving pizza and I started last Monday. It’s within walking distance of my house which helps but I’m still training and won’t get paid for two weeks.

I’ve been trying to do jobs that are close by but I’ve also been dealing with a really bad cold for over a week. On Sundays I sell my art at Art Garden but last week was canceled due to the weather and the two weeks before I only made $20 collectively.

Yesterday I posted on Facebook about finding out I could apply to enroll in my tribe once I saved for a DNA test. At first I was just posting to share the good news but someone suggested I start a GoFundMe so I decided to set it up thinking it would still take a while. But by the end is the day there was enough raised to get the test. But I can’t do that until I handle this mess I’m in now.

So I guess what I’m saying is I need help to get back on my feet. I’ve been trying to make things work but it feels like at every turn I’m faced with a new challenge. I feel like I can’t breathe. I feel like I failed as an artist and running my own business the last two years because I had to get another job. I’ve always taken care of myself. This is hard to say but I can’t do it by myself this time.

Seeing how so many people were willing to help yesterday made me feel brave enough to ask for help. This is what I need to get out of this mess.
