A Mission for Remission, Help for Cathy Arnett
Donation protected
Cathy Arnett is known and respected by many in our community, and elsewhere. What many people don't know, after beating colon cancer in 2016, she developed some confusing symptoms that ended up leading to a diagnosis of Lyme Disease. Lyme Disease symptoms include debilitating joint and bone pain, immune system challenges, and overall extreme inflammation all over the body. Unfortunately, there is no cure for Lyme disease, only hope for remission. Cathy's disease has progressed beyond living with it easily. She has exhausted most avenues of treatment, without much success. Her current treatment plan includes many supplements, a strict diet, and an IV antibiotic treatment that she hooks to a port in her chest 1-2 times a day 5 days a week. She has hopes for remission, with a 4-6 week cutting-edge treatment. Unfortunately, this treatment must be paid out of pocket, without any help from insurance. We, her family, are asking for community help! This treatment is our last hope that she will be able to get back to living a, somewhat, normal life. All funds raised will go to the treatment itself and housing during the 4-6 weeks. Any funds raised over our goal will be donated to Lyme Disease research, in hopes that more effective treatments will be available to any patient that has to live with this same disease. No amount given is too small. With everyone's help, remission is possible.
