Help a mom, sister and daughter keep fighting.

Hello, my name is Matthew Cone, and I'm looking for help to support my younger sister Lisa as she undergoes a life extending surgery. Please take a look and help however you can. Thanks!

Lisa has lived her 41 years with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis having been diagnosed at the age of six months old. Though Doctors at the time projected she wouldn’t make it this far, she has proven them wrong and she isn’t done fighting, but this mission becomes harder and harder as the days go by. This disease scars her fragile lung tissue, making it thicker, less flexible and unable to draw in oxygen. The next step for Lisa, to continue this fight, is a double lung transplant.

This is not an undertaking Lisa is eager to go through, having lost her father in 1999 to an unsuccessful double lung transplant, but she has more to live for than she has to fear. Her 9 year old daughter Ella needs to have her mother in her life. In addition to the obvious danger to her life, the condition of her physical health has made it near impossible for Lisa to continue doing the work she loves at JC Penny even with an oxygen tank in tow, which is not just fulfilling, but necessary for her to take care of herself and her daughter. Lisa and Ella need our support, so we ask that our community try to find space to share where they can.
