A Mother’s Day Nightmare

Hi, my name is Jayna Hayward and I’m fundraising to help my sister Tommie Montez-Chalk give Brendan the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Brendan’s funeral. We need to raise $3000 by Sunday, May 15,2022 in order to pay for the funeral services on Monday, May 16,2022.

On Mother’s Day she was awakened by two detectives with news that her 19 year old son Brendan Hawkins was found deceased with multiple gun shot wounds. He was a brother, uncle, nephew, god brother, friend and someone chose to take this young man’s life away from his loved ones. 

On Mother’s Day, Tommie is struck with tragedy, instead of celebrating with her children, Tommie is now grieving the loss of her youngest son. She is forced to figure out a way to give her son a proper burial as No Mother is ever prepared for this day. Tommie just started a new job and will need to take time off from work to make the necessary preparations to bury her son as well as mourn the loss of his life. I’m asking if you could find it in your heart to donate any amount possible to help ease some financial burdens she is about to faced with, it would be greatly appreciated.
