a musician and mum in a difficult situation

I'm Anaïs Chen (www.anais-chen.com). More then two years ago I started to have diffuse problems in my violin playing and a year ago I got the diagnosis focal dystonia and had to stop performing as a violinist. As I was living from giving concerts and as a separated mother of a 7-years old child and daughter of a psycologically and physically ill mother I am now again in a difficult situation because I have to organize and pay the moving of my mother from Switzerland to Italy near to where I live having no extra financial ressources. I try to keep over the water through online teaching (about historical performance practice, improvised ornamentation etc) but it's not a very secure income. The needs of my mother and the moving and burocratic issues keep me rather busy for two months so I can't work a lot neither in other jobs.
Therefore I had also to stop my new promising therapy (online sessions with the New York based violinist Sophie Till which helped my sinnce beginning of the year to play again some projects and to keep confidence in the healing process through a new approach to the violin).
The huge positive reaction on the SRF docmentary through many personal encouraging messages where some people shared their own profound personal experiences and some asked as well if they could help me financially helped me a lot and I decided to walk over my barrier to reach out myself for financial help through fundraising.
I hope to be able to play again well - or even better? - in a not too far future or find another work fitting to my capacities and meeting the needs of others. :)
