A New Beginning for the Baldi Family

On March 28th a fire destroyed two apartments in Holtsville, NY. One of which was my grandparent’s apartment where they are raising my little sister. Not only did the fire destroy everything, but it came one day after my Nana came out of the hospital for surgery and a major infection. At their age and with Nana’s condition they need all the hands and help they can get. Marge, Phil, and Bella Baldi have not always been the luckiest, and this recent tragic loss of their home and all of their belongings at such a time of poor health has been the ultimate trial. All those who know my grandparents know that they would give the shirt off their backs for anyone, especially family. I hope that with the support of family and friends they can start to rebuild what has been lost. Thank you to everyone that has helped and continue to help.
