A New Colorado Trauma Therapy Home

 Greetings!!! Elliant Counseling Services, PC is a small therapy practice that provides trauma therapy to Individuals, Couples, Families, and Children with Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Substance Addictions, Behavioral Addictions, Betrayal Trauma and much more. Most of our clients have experienced a combination of physical, emotional, sexual, mental, spiritual, and/or social traumas. We help and support veterans, first responders, victims of assault, hate crimes, discrimination, and individuals who have experienced traumas of neglect.

 

In 2017, our practice began to realize we shared a common area with another tenant who was offering “Massage Therapy.” We soon discovered this was a revenue front for victims of sex trafficking. We immediately went into action contacting authorities and attorneys to safeguard our employees, clients, and especially the women who were forced or coerced to provide sex services.

 

Unfortunately, our families and kids lost their sense of safety due to the massage therapy patrons loitering in the area. While this was occurring, our office suite also experienced a flood from a pipe bursting in the business above us. Everything was destroyed and I mean everything!!!

 

Keeping our clients safe is our priority, so we quickly found a new office space in an entirely different area of town. After three years, we finally began to settle in and feel more secure. Sadly, we began to see similar signs in our area. As you may imagine, shock, alarm, and anxiety began to stir up from the stress of the past. We immediately decided we would embark on a search for a more permanent, safe, and secure location for our practice.

 

Finally, we have good news!!! We found an adorable commercial condominium with an HOA that will only allow for professional services. Our new home was built in 1981 and is in dire need of remodeling to make it the best environment possible for our clients. (To get a picture… just Think 80s!)

 

This is where we need your help!!! We are hoping to raise up to $55,000 for our new trauma therapy home remodel. Each donation of $100 or more will secure a mosaic tile that will be assembled to create a community art piece at our new location. Please note: While we are grateful and honored to serve our current and past clients of Elliant Counseling Services, Licensed Therapists' are prohibited to accept gifts or funds from the clients that we serve.
