A New Day... Running for Funds to Support 5 Families in Gaza

Hello all - I spent 2024 working to raise money through running for organisations and families in need in Gaza after months of bombardment, starvation and violence for women, children, medical staff and journalists. Now we have renewed attacks at a time when people are trying to return to their lives. But for the vast majority of families, what they have returned to is total destruction.

But the beauty of the Palestinian people, I am learning, is that many eras of oppression have strengthened their spirit and the hope of a better tomorrow never, ever dies. I am trying in a small way to fuel that hope.

This is a fundraiser for five separate families that I will connect you with during the course of this fundraiser. Each one has a terrible and beautiful story to tell you. All I ask is that you consider donating. I will be running the Geneva half marathon on 11 May 2025 and I am trying to raise 5,000 euros by then.
