A new grooming snowmobile for Green Woodlands

We’re often asked whether we accept donations or how people can contribute to Green Woodlands Foundation. Until now, we haven’t had any fundraising efforts.

 

As you might know, it takes a lot of equipment to keep everything running around here. We have mini excavators that help us build our mountain bike trails, grooming equipment to help with our ski trails, and so much more. And, well, some of our equipment is getting pretty long in the tooth.

 

If you visited us skiing last winter, you might have noticed our Skandic grooming snowmobiles broken down on the side of the trail, or being towed back to the barn. While these machines have served us well over the years and assisted in many kilometers of groomed trails and smiling skiers, they have reached the end of their lifecycle and are in need of replacement.

 

This will be our first time reaching out to the public to assist with raising money for the foundation, to help us cover the cost of a Ski Doo utility snowmobile. This machine will be used to supplement our main grooming machines, the Bombardier and Rabbit, to groom under certain conditions or areas that prohibit the use of those larger machines.
