Hello, my name is Mahmoud Najjar, and I live with my family in Gaza. Recently our house got destroyed.

We used to have a simple life, filled with love and joy. I worked at a local company, and my job was our only source of income.

Our life wasn't luxurious, but it was dignified. We celebrated small, happy occasions together, like birthdays or achievements. I still remember the joy when my brother passed his Tawjihi exams in 2023; those moments brought a special light to our lives.

But everything changed on October 7, 2023. We were forced to leave our safe home in the northern part of Gaza and flee to the south. That night, we had to make a difficult decision: to leave everything behind and seek safety. It wasn't easy to abandon our home, our memories, and the life we had built over the years.

Since then, life has become a daily struggle. We no longer know what safety feels like. We search for food and water, face the challenge of cooking over a fire, and gather wood just to survive. Every day is a battle to stay alive, and every moment carries the risk of death. We have clung to life despite the harsh conditions, but the pain has been immense, and the losses immeasurable.

We have nothing left to rely on but our dignity and our faith that better days will come. But to achieve that, we need your help. Our goal now is to secure a dignified life for our family. We want to feel safe again and build a new life on the ruins of what we lost.
