A new Liver for Destiny

Destiny has been battling liver failure for almost eight years. 2022 started off rocky with several complications but seemed manageable with medication. Through the spring, her health was deteriorating, and the only option for any quality of life would be a liver transplant. Destiny is now being registered for a transplant, and as a young, otherwise healthy person, she is a great candidate for donation

 

Destiny started the process and now we have to wait. We've begun planning the best we could, expecting the wait to be months or even years. The callout to family and friends has brought forth several loving individuals who are getting tested for a live donation.

 

The first ask is to consider being tested to be a donor.

Living Donor Program and testing 

While much of the cost is covered for the transplant, there are many other aspects which are not. This fundraising effort is to cover all these costs. All money will go toward hotel costs, food, gas, medical bills and to help cover any bills they have in the coming weeks.
