A new start for Hillary filled with love & peace

This is Hillary. She’s a mother of 7 children. For the last 10 years she has been living with her now ex-fiancé who is the father of her two youngest children ages 7 and 9. Hillary’s main occupation over the years has been that of a Mom, with her oldest child now 23. Although Hillary has taken several part-time jobs during this time, she has relied on her ex for the majority of their financial support. With 7 kids, she has also had to make herself available for transporting the kids to activities and being an active mother. She has been a volunteer in the schools her children attend, a member of the PTA, a volunteer for field trips, etc.

Hillary’s ex-fiancé owns the house she and her children have lived in over the last 7 years. Because of unreconcilable differences, Hillary is now on her own. While battling cancer, and homeschooling the children through COVID, Hillary put herself through beauty school working towards creating a home-based business. Unfortunately, that option is no longer currently available to her, because today, Hillary is essentially homeless. She has been given a deadline to get out of her house, saying that she was a “tenant” in the home in which the family lived. Additionally, since the vehicle she was using to transport her children to activities, school, etc., is her ex-fiancé’s, she no longer has access to a vehicle, which makes it difficult to get a job.

Hillary has reached out to local not-for-profit sources to get help with her domestic situation to no avail, having been put on a waiting list for the last year.

Fortunately, Hillary has friends who have been helping her, providing shelter and transportation for her and her children, but this is all short-term. Her ex-fiancé has the two younger children and she has not been able to see them for over five weeks. With everything that she is experiencing not being able to see her kids has been the hardest.

Hillary is just trying to be a Mom to her children, get on her feet, and out of an abusive situation, but all the cards seem to be stacked against her. A friend has offered to “sell” her a car, but it is in need of repairs, all of this costing over $3000.00. She needs help financially to find a home where she and her kids can start a new life. She needs and wants to financially support herself and provide a safe environment for her and her kids, but she has had to use all of her savings for attorney fees.

Because the system is failing Hillary, we are asking for your help! She is a good Mom, a good citizen, with a huge heart. She has lived her life to support her family, to be there for them, to care for them, putting them first. Isn’t that what a mom is supposed to do? There is more to the story, A LOT MORE, but to put it all here you’d have to read a book. The money donated will be used for first, last, security deposit, plus 4 months of rent and vehicle expenses, providing Hillary with time to get on her feet and start anew.
