A Night for Micéal

Miceal Lynch is a well known and popular figure throughout the district.

He has always been regarded as a civil and hardworking family man and as someone who over the years readily found time to help and support many charitable causes and community initiatives.

Miceal whilst on holiday with his wife Jennifer became critically ill.

He spent time in hospital in Crete and recently had been transferred back home where he is undergoing further medical treatment and tests.

Through his years of work and his lifelong participation in sport both as a player and mentor Miceal has ensured that he, Jennifer and the family are known and valued by many.

He has been a good friend to many of us

We as a community have come together to raise much needed funds to help the Lynch family in this their time of challenge.

They face a worrying future whilst Miceal battles against illness.
