"What does this project mean to YOU?"
"As a biracial individual, growing up in a different family environment was the norm. Churchill's interesting take on the word 'family' presents a challenge for myself that I couldn't resist."
---Pollard
"Churchill warns us of an impending world where technological advancements come in the way crucial human relationships. By directing this play, I embrace the challenge of telling this striking story of a broken family while translating this message of caution to every audience member in the room."
---Swidzinski
"What I find most interesting about Caryl Churchill's writing, and what I'm most excited to dissect in this performance, is her ability to highlight such fundamental human traits. With the opportunity to explore Salter's character, I'm embracing a person who is forced to confront the consequences of building his ideal life. A Number provides us the chance to see what length someone will go to prop up the reality they've created and how that desire resonates within all of us."
