A Paediatric Special Needs Stroller for Evie

Hi My name is Danielle, I am the mother and carer of Evie,

As a mother/father you want to provide all you can for child and even more so when they are faced with extreme difficulties, so I have had to swallow my pride and ask for some help to get the resources our girl needs.

We would love to be able to use a paediatric special needs stroller that would suit her needs and greatly improve our lives but unfortunately is is beyond our means.

So a little bit bout Evie:

Evie is a 7 year old girl with a primary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (Level 3) and global developmental delay. She has the following co-morbidities.

- low tone and ligamentous laxity which affect her upper limbs and her lower limbs.

- complex sensory disorder as a part of her Autism

- non-verbal communication

We also have had to start homeschooling as mainstream school was too much for Evie to cope with and feel we have become isolated.

As Evie is becoming older, she is physically more challenging to take out in the community. When she is dysregulated and unable to cope with the environment or sound, she can be unpredictable and run away from

her us.

Evie is very tall so we need a special paediatric stroller that will last for years to come.

I will attach a copy of a quote we have received to show the cost, the target we have set is to account for fees in the hopes we can raise enough to cover most of the paediatric stroller.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated and I understand things are tight for a lot of people so I know that its not possible for everyone so it would also be appreciated if you could share the fundraiser.
