A Pediatric Stander for Davis

The sleepy little guy in the picture is my little buddy Davis. Davis was born a lot early with a host of medical issues. Most people would have started him a go fund me just for that.  However, Davis and his family have trucked right through it.  Multiple surgeries, multiple scares, needing nursing help and durable equipment, Davis has kept right on trucking and is an ever present bright spot in his parents’ lives.

Here’s the thing, Davis has had a little more bad timing.  His folks ordered him a Pediatric Stander ( A device that will help with his development) that was supposed to be delivered in December. If it had been delivered on time, it would have cost them nothing. Unfortunately, it won’t be delivered until January.  With the “new” insurance plans, it’s going to cost them around $5000.00 out of pocket right at the first of the year.

That’s more than a little tough for a young family.  Yeah, they are going to spend that  over the course of the year in deductibles, but it’s a pretty painful chunk to come up with at once in January. 

Look I love this kid, and his parents. If I had 5k laying around to give them, I’d do it in a heartbeat.  I don’t.  So, on their behalf, I’m asking you. If you got an extra dollar, just one (or several if it won’t hurt) if you’d consider helping my little friend.  I will be forever in your debt.
