A pending Double Lung Transplant recipient

Hi, My name is Joy Gardella and I am trying to raise money for my dear, longtime friend Tammy. She is a mother of 3 and has 3 grandchildren, the loves of her life. She has had a most difficult journey with severe asthma her entire life and is now in an aggressive stage of sarcoidosis, a life-threatening lung disease, that will require a double lung transplant to prolong her life.

She has been on 24/7 oxygen for almost 2 years. Funds for Tammy will help to pay her medical insurance premiums, medical bills, and co-payments that she is incurring now with the hopes of getting approval for the transplant. If approved for the transplant, it will be a long road to recovery after surgery. The costs before and after will be insurmountable and, in the unlikely event she does not get approved, the funds will help with her care.

Tammy has always given her "all" to everyone she knows. Now it's time to give back to her, in her time of need.
