A Permanent Home For Inugoya

Hello,

My name is Lizz, and I run Inugoya Rehoming and Rehabilitation. Inugoya is a rescue that focuses on German/Belgian/Dutch Shepherds and Rottweilers, located in Ontario, Canada.

Life brings many challenges, and the rescue is yet again in the position of needing to find a place to set up. We are temporarily using a boarding kennel, but can't stay here for longterm. Rental prices are very high, and finding what we need is proving to be very, very challenging. And honestly, I am tired of not having somewhere permanent to set up our facility.

My focus has turned to buying land. Acreage that we can call our own, and set up as I envision. A place where all Shepherds and Rottweilers are welcome, and can explore their drives and needs to their hearts content. A safe space for them to wait for their forever homes, during this incredibly challenging time here in Ontario.

I plan to pursue a minimum of 100 acres. The more, the better! This land will allow ample safe space for all the activities the dogs wish to enjoy, as well as allow facilities to connect with the community through training, dog sports, and boarding. I hope to include veterinary care, education, and retail opportunities down the road as well. We won't have to rent, and seek out other places for what we need, we will have it all under our own 'roof'!

Everything starts with support. There is a great need for working dog focused rescues, and there are very few across Canada. I don't mind putting in the day to day grind, it is my passion. But I can't do it without financial support. Will you share this dream with me, and donate today?

I have set the goal at $50,000 to start. Land prices fluctuate, so if I find a specific property I wish to chase, I will update accordingly. I will probably end up northwards, but we will see what's out there! The most important thing is that the land meets all of our needs to start building, and grow from.
