A Permanent Home for the John Bell Institute
Tax deductible
The main aim of the John Bell Institute is to create a physical site dedicated to summer schools, workshops and research in the foundations of physics. We have already constructed a lecture hall, the Detlef Dürr Room, and breakfast room for this purpose at the Villa Pingvin in Bojanić Bad, Hvar, Croatia and have used the location for summer schools and workshops. Our plans were temporarily derailed by COVID, but now we are moving to acquire the Villa for the Institute home. It is a unique opportunity to provide a permanent facility devoted to investigations in the foundations of physics, and a place for curious graduate students and young scholars to become involved in the field.
Please help if you can, and please share information about this project widely.
